There’s going to be a strong Dublin presence on the November 5th Belfast Boxnation card at the Titanic Exhibition Centre.

Tallaght’s Sean Creagh takes on Tyrone McKenna for the Celtic Nations light welterweight title in one of the fights of the night on the ‘Homecoming’ card, while heavyweight Sean ‘Big Sexy’ Turner will also feature.

In addition, two further Dubs have been confirmed for the card.

Clondalkin’s Stephen Ormond [21(11)-3(1)] will look to quickly bounce back from his shock stoppage loss to Zoltan Szabo last week with a slot on the card. His Celtic Warrior gym mates Niall Kennedy, Lynn Harvey, Luke Keeler, and Stevie Collins, all box on the Red Corner ‘Inception’ show at the National Stadium in Dublin on the same night, but Ormond will be in action in the Titanic City. The bout will come just five weeks after his defeat in Scotland, with Ormond and trainer Paschal Collins looking to move on quickly from the loss which they chalk down to a ‘perfect shot.’

Also featuring will be Deco Geraghty [13(3)-1(0)]. The slick southpaw super featherweight became Irish title-eligible last week on the same card as Ormond in Scotland, and will be looking to continue moving towards a fight for the green belt.

The bumper card in Belfast will be headlined by Jamie Conlan and features a packed undercard which includes Marco McCullough v Michael Roberts Jr, Tyrone McKenna v Sean Creagh, and the debut of Olympic hero Paddy Barnes. Also on the undercard is Sean Turner, Gary Sweeney, Con Sheehan, and the debuts of Steven Ward and Lewis Crocker.
