Double leg break for John Joe Nevin
JOHN Joe Nevin received further bad new last night as it was discovered that both of his legs are broken.
The Olympic silver medal winner, who has just turned pro, went to hospital Saturday morning and received the devastating news that he had suffered a leg break, but further scans have revealed that both his legs were broken in an assault near his home.
His trainer Brian McKeown confirmed the devastating news when speaking to the Irish Independent last night.
“It seems that there is a fracture in his left leg,” Mr McKeown said.
