Dennis Hogan moves into World title contention

Following his impressive win over Samuel Colomban, Dennis Hogan has re-entered the World rankings of one of the four major sanctioning bodies.

The Kildare man challenged for the WBA interim belt last year, and is now looking to maneuver himself up the WBO ladder.

Hurricane Hogan enters the WBO light middleweight rankings at #11 following his Oriental title win. The Kilcullen fighter has 154lbs World title aspirations and will hope to secure fights against fellow ranked fighters in the near future. Possibilities include former champ Liam Williams (#8), whom he was close to agreeing a clash with in the Summer, as well as the winner of the upcoming all-British bout between Liam Williams (#3) and Ahmet Patterson (#14)
