The boxing rumour mill is churning out news of a mouthwatering Irish title fight.
If rumour is to be believed Conrad Cummings and Alfredo Meli will fight for the vacant strap in Belfast on November 20.
Fight fans will be offering prayers to the boxing gods that this clash will indeed come off as it has Fight of the Year written all over it.
Cyclone Promotions star Cummings has forged a reputation as one to watch while pushing his way to 7-0 in entertaining fashion on the undercard of Carl Frampton bouts.
While Meli has done his business out of the spot light, but is a highly regarded operator by those in the know in Belfast.
Winning the title last fought for by Anthony Fitzgerald and Eamonn O’Kane in Dundalk back in 2013 could help propel both fighters career forward.
The title fight could also provide a further boost for Irish-boxing as another domestic battle with Luke Keeler could be an option for the winner.
