Jamie Conlan and super flyweight rival Paul Butler will share a bill but not a ring when ‘The Mexican’ returns.
The MGM puncher will fight on a Frank Warren show in Butler’s home town of Liverpool in in November or December.
It will be the Belfast favourites first clash since his Fight of The Year contender with Junior Granados, which played out in front of a partisan National Stadium on July 4.
Having both on the same show is obviously to help build further a fight for which foundations were laid with some back and fort verbal sparring over the years.
MGM are said to be coming back to Dublin with Boxnation in October, but is seems Conlan won’t be out on that date.
