Collection of Changes to Celtic Clash 3 card
There have been a host of changes made this evening to the ‘Celtic Clash 3: Building Champions’ bill in Dublin this Saturday.
The card, headlined by a BUI Celtic featherweight title fight between Eric Donovan and Welsh champion Dai Davies, has seen a late withdrawal, a late addition, and some opponent swaps.
Dublin welterweight Keane McMahon [1(0)-0] has withdrawn from the card for personal reasons and will now no longer face game Bulgarian Radoslav Mitev [9(2)-32(14)-1].
With McMahon off the card, Tallaght light welter Sean Creagh [5(2)-1(1)] has been added to the bill.
However, Creagh will not face Mitev. Instead, Dublin light middleweight Bernard Roe [4(0)-0] will box this opponent over four rounds..
Roe had been due to box another Bulgarian, Valentin Stoychev [8(4)-22(11)-4], but this opponent will now face Creagh in a 164lbs four-round match-up.
Stoychev memorably held Donegal’s Michael McLaughlin Owen to a draw and has also been stopped by Stephen Ormond and Alfredo Meli.
Creagh was in camp for his fight date on the Kieran Farrell Promotions show in Belfast on Friday October 6th, a welterweight four-rounder, but has jumped in to plug a hole here.
