Carl Frampton’s bizarre Brighton run

Carl Frampton [23(14)-0] is today spending some time training in Brighton ahead of his rematch with Leo Santa Cruz.

‘The Jackal’ takes on Santa Cruz in Las Vegas on January 28th and is putting in the hard yards at the moment and has spent time sparring with boxers such as Paul Hyland Jr, Jon Fernández, and amateur star Luke McCormack.

Out for a run on the Brighton seafront today, the Belfast man bumped into a certain Chris Eubank – however the former WBO super middleweight champion, on his push bike, didn’t recognise Frampton.

Frampton updated his social media followers: “Nice little run, steady state run along Brighton seafront, sparring later on tonight. Believe it or not, just bumped in to Chris Eubank on a pushbike… I don’t think he knew who I was, but I said hello anyway.”
