Canvas Controversy: Drama in Duesseldorf as Team Fury threaten withdrawal
There has been even more controversy ahead of Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko’s heavyweight showdown tonight in Duesseldorf.
Team Fury have been infuriated by what they see as an unacceptable canvas at the ESPRIT Arena, and have threatened to withdraw if the problem is not resolved.
The canvas has been described as an unsafe trampoline, and way beyond the soft canvas mandated by Klitschko that they had expected.
Team Fury’s greivances have been echoed by the British Boxing Board of Control.

If their refusing to change this canvas which takes just one hour to remove foam" then it's simply cheating to gain unfair advantage.
