‘Busiest prospect in Ireland’ targets double figures by Christmas
Paul Hyland Jnr, the talented, popular, undefeated prospect (8-0) from the Lagmore area of West Belfast, is now back in full training after a fantastic battle at the Europa Hotel on 17th October against a strong Bence Molnar of Hungary.
“Hylo,” as he known by his growing army of supporters, is never in a dull fight and has proved to everyone after winning two belts (International Masters, PBA International Challenge Belt – both at lightweight) why he made the crossover from a successful amateur career to the pro ranks where he now sits at number 12 in the British Rankings after 8 fights.
Next up for the Hyland Jnr is a spot on the undercard of the Cyclone Promotions “All ON THE LINE” featuring the unbeaten middleweights Conrad Cummings & Alfredo Meli for the BBBofC Celtic Title at the Waterfront Hall on Friday 20th November.
Promoter Mark Dunlop plans a busy end to 2016 for his charge, explaining that “Paul has every tool in the box and has a big heart, everything needed to go the whole way, he is sitting in a nice position in the ratings and has got there not by fighting mugs but by beating people who win fights, he is without a doubt the busiest prospect in Britain and Ireland 8 fights in 16 months in some going, he never lets me down, it would be great to get him into double figures by Christmas”
