Dublin light middleweight Bernard Roe [4(0)-0] has unfortunately been forced to withdraw from this weekend’s show at the National Stadium.

The Celtic Warriors Gym puncher was due to make the step up to six rounds on Saturday on the inaugural Red Corner Promotions show, titled ‘Inception.’

However, the inner city boxer has suffered a minor back injury in training and will now no longer be appearing on the bill at the famous South Circular Road venue.

The 25 year old still hopes to appear on the December 3rd show at the same venue on the Linda Laura Lecca v Christina McMahon WBA super flyweight World title undercard.

Roe’s withdrawal leaves eight fights on the card this weekend. Luke Keeler headlines versus Bradley Pryce for the BUI Celtic Warrior middleweight belt with undercard support from Gorey heavyweight Niall Kennedy, Kilbarrack flyweight Lynn Harvey, Kildare super feather Eric Donovan, Derry light middle Connor Coyle, Navan super middle Chris Blaney, Balbriggan welter Crank Whitehouse, and Belfast lightweight Joe Fitzpatrick.
