Baptism of Fire of Dragon Fitzpatrick on ‘Dee-Day’

Joe Fitzpatrick‘s feet have not touched the ground since he signed his professional boxing contract with busy Belfast Manager/Promoter Mark Dunlop last week.

The 20 year old Commonwealth Games Silver Medallist has now successfully completed all his medicals, fished all his media commitments all in between training sessions and is now ready to make his debut on the Dee – Day card in the Devenish Complex, Finaghy Rd North on Saturday night.

“The Dragon” Fitzpatrick’s new ring monocle will have no easy debut when he faces the tough Hungarian Ignac “The Test” Kassai.

Kassai has fought many of the local prospects including Carl Frampton, James Tennyson, Daniel McShane and more recently taken Dublin’s Declan Geraghty the distance, he comes with a respectable record of W18 L40 D2 in his 60 contests.

“It’s no straightforward baptism for Joe however I believe he is world class and hopefully Saturday night will prove it” Mark Dunlop

Tickets available on the door, £40 VIP Ringside & £30 unreserved.
