Alfredo Meli given comeback date

Belfast’s Alfredo Meli [11(3)-0-1] will fight for the first time in over a year next month.

The middleweight southpaw has recently signed with MGM and will fight on the December 10th ‘Jingle Brawls’ card at the Tudor Grange Leisure Centre near Birmingham, ending a frustrating period of inactivity for the Immaculata boxer.

It will be 26 year old Meli’s first fight since his BBBoC Celtic title draw with Cyclone’s Tyrone star Conrad Cummings in the Waterfront Hall last November.

An opponent for Meli will be confirmed in the near future.

Also appearing on the bill in Solihull will be Cori Gibbs, Joe Sherriff, Jason Welborn, Ishmael Ellis, Troy James, and Kelcie Ball.
