Hanney secures PABA title shot after just three fights

JAKE Hanney has been offered the chance to fight for the WBA Pan Asian title after just three fights.

Even more exciting for the Australian based welterweight if he wins the vacant title he will become mandatory for WBA PABA belt.

The PABA strap is the European title equivalent and one which Hanney’s FBI gym mate holds at super bantamweight.

Winning that championship has seen Doheny move into the World top 15. Both Hanney and Doheny would admit its way too early for either to challenge for World titles, but a world top 15 ranking makes you eligible.

Hanney has agreed to challenge for Pan Asian title in November and is awaiting for an opponent to be confirmed.
