VIDEO: Macklin: I won’t rush into any decisions

MATTHEW Macklin suffered heart breaking defeat in Dublin on Saturday night.

Pre fight the popular middleweight said if he lost he would consider retirement and whilst he wasn’t making any rash decision minutes after the fight he admitted he would have a ‘retirement conversation’ with himself.

The fighter who brought big time boxing back to Ireland did stress that Andy Lee and Martin Murray fights could also be an option, but respectfully dismissed any ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan suggestions.
