Collins Jr’s American and Stadium debuts put on hold

Steve Collins Jr [5(1)-0-1] has unfortunately been forced to pull out of his two upcoming bouts through injury.

The Celtic Warriors Gym fighter, and son of the Celtic Warrior himself, was due to make his U.S. on a Murphy’s Boxing show in Boston on July 27th as well as fighting on the MGM/Boxnation show in the National Stadium on July 4th.

The former rugby player was planning to have his first outings as a light heavyweight having shed over 50lbs since becoming a boxer.

Instead the Dubliner must wait before his next outing as he continues his boxing apprenticeship.

It is unclear whether a replacement will be brought in for Collins for the July 4th show.
