Impressive win for Big Sexy Turner in Spain against toughest opponent yet

While it wasn’t exactly ‘Lights Out’ for Vigoris Borucha tonight at MGM’s ‘Lights Out at the Plaza’ show in Puerto Banús, the ultra-durable Lithuanian certainly felt the power of Sean ‘Big Sexy’ Turner.

The popular Irish heavyweight won every round, landing heavy punches throughout, and twice badly hurting his Baltic opponent in the final round.

However, Borucha, and his signature paddy-cap, had only been stopped twice in over forty fights and the Lithuanian was able to hold on in the final stanza and survive to the bell.

It was not just the power on display from Turner that was impressive – the Dub showing a comprehensive skillset and a full range of shots over the course of the bout

Borucha – who had also lasted the distance with future Anthony Joshua foe, Gary Cornish – was a highly credible opponent for Turner and the dominant win will add to his quickly growing reputation.

After the victorious step-up in class, ‘Big Sexy’ improves his record to 6(5)-0, while Borucha falls to 10(2)-31(2)-3
