ANOTHER new opponent for Fury

It’s been a tough week for Hughie Fury [17(9)-0] in terms of securing an opponent for his fight in Duesseldorf on the undercard of his cousin’s World title clash with Wladimir Klitschko.

The 21 year old was initially due to face former Tyson opponent Nicolai Firtha [21(8)-11(5)-1], however the American pulled out last week. The veteran was replaced by Bosnia’s Adnan Redzovic [16(5)-1(1)].

Unfortunately, the Bosnian Lion was soon shelved due to drug testing issues, leaving the World Youth amateur champ opponentless.

Konstantin Airich [22(18)-14(8)-2], a former opponent of Anthony Joshua, Vyacheslav Glazkov, and Danny Williams among others was then quickly put forward however he was rejected by the German board.

Finally now, on the day of the fight, an opponent has been found. Croatia’s Toni Visic [19(5)-19(8)-1] will step up to face the Manchester-born starlet in the ESPRIT Arena.
