Wilton’s British title challenge to take place in Liverpool on Matthews undercard?

REPORTS in Scotland suggest Liverpool will again play host to a Luke Wilton British title challenge.

The British Board of Control was due accept purse bids for the right to promote Wilton versus Iain Butcher for the vacant British strap, but according to reports a deal has already been agreed.

Wilton had hoped to take the fight to Belfast, but it seems he will be returning to the Echo Arena and will trade leather with Scotland’s Butler on the under-card of Derry Matthews and Richard Abril’s World title fight.
