Wilton added to All on the Line bill – McKenna eager to be confirmed as opponent
Reports from Belfast suggest welterweight prospect Matt Wilton has been added to the All on the Line November 20 bill.
The news means one half of the muted Wilton versus Tyrone McKenna clash that has captured the imagination of Tweeting Irish fight fans has been confirmed on the Cyclone Promotions Waterfront Hall show.
Team McKenna have already called for the all Belfast clash and Wilton the younger brother of former British title challenger Luke Wilton seems open to the bout.
The November 20 card is taking a finer shape than Pamela Anderson in her Baywatch pomp. With Conrad Cummings facing Alfredo Meli in a mouthwatering Celtic title fight that has Irish Fight of the Year written all over it, Marc McCullough facing John Slowey in a suitably all or nothing trade fight, and a potential Belfast derby between Wilton and McKenna means the card is quickly becoming eagerly anticipated to say the least.
Wilton’s opponent has yet to be confirmed, but the undefeated puncher will be happy to have a November 6 bout lined up in Dublin and a fight just three weeks after confirmed.
Paul Hyland Jnr will also fight at the Belfast venue.
