Cork middleweight Spike O’Sullivan is in Canada and set for a crucial fight in his career.

The Leesider takes on rising U.S. star Antoine Douglas in the chief support bout for the Billy Joe Saunders v David Lemieux WBO middleweight title fight in Laval.

It’s a crucial fight for the 33 year old Rebel, who comes into the bout as a slight underdog and knowing his career is essentially on the line – however he enters off the back of a career-best performance in September versus Nick Quigley.

Over in Quebec since late last week alongside coach Paschal Collins, O’Sullivan went through his paces yesterday ahead of the WBO Inter-Continental title fight as part of the public workout.
