Watch Micheal Conlan sparring top Cuban Marcus Forstall

Micheal Conlan will be in action in the National Stadium tonight as he takes on a Kazakhstan foe in a pre Olympic warm up. 

However, if you can’t make it to the South Circular Road and the home of Irish-boxing to see the Rio Gold hopeful in the flesh you can catch him on RTE.

Wednesday night’s RTÉ show, Road to Rio, will give a behind-the-scenes look at the preparation that goes into being an Olympian and Conlan will represent Ireland and the High Performance squad on the show.
