WATCH: Katie Taylor v Monica Gentili weigh-in and head-to-head

Katie Taylor [2(1)-0] was on the scales today in London ahead of her third pro fight.

The Wicklow woman boxes on the undercard of the David Haye v Tony Bellew pay-per-view at the O2 Arena tomorrow night where she will face Italian Monica Gentili [6(1)-6(1)].

While her first two fights took place just above featherweight, tomorrow’s bout will be at lightweight and the Bray boxer came in at a career-highest 134.2lbs (9 stone, 8 pounds, 3 ounces).

Gentili tipped the scales at the slightly higher weight of 134.4lbs (9 stone, 8 pounds, 5 ounces).

The pair then engaged in a cordial face-off.
