WATCH: Jay Byrne’s gutsy effort v Josh Kelly

Jay Byrne [4(1)-2(0)] came up against a very impressive prospect last night, but pushed Josh Kelly all the way in Glasgow.

The Dublin brought the Rio Olympian the full six in what was a refreshingly competitive and entertaining fight

The skilfull Kelly was however just too good technically for the game Byrne who did well and nicked a round in the process.

A second defeat on his record, ‘The Negotiator’s’ stock has risen nonetheless.
