Watch: Carl Frampton drum up support for the Green and White Army

He is more acquainted with beating up opponents, but Northern Ireland’s number one supporter Carl Frampton was beating the drums in France last weekend.

‘The Jackal’ jetted over to the Euros to support a team that he has proved an inspiration for over the last few years.

The fighter, who challenges Leo Santa Cruz for the WBA featherweight World title in New York on July 30th, is well in with the squad, indeed star striker Kyle Lafferty has carried his IBF super bantamweight belt into the ring for his massive clash with Scott Quigg in February.

However, the Belfast fighter elected against the VIP treatment in France and went with and as a fan.
