VIDEO: Povetkin takes out Perez in seconds
Cork based Cuban Mike Perez was stopped in a matter of seconds by Russian Alexander Potvetkin.
The Russian dropped the former amateur standout twice before 1:30 had passed to claim a first round victory in Russia.
The reverse was Perez’s second defeat after he was out pointed by Byrant Jennings late last year.
