‘I am a boy that fights I am not a boy to hide’, Alfredo Meli told Irish-boxing.com ahead of the biggest fight of his career to date.

The Belfast middleweight trades leather for his first title tomorrow on the anticipated Feile Fight Night Card when he competes with Rhys Pagan for the right to be crowned Celtic Nations champion.

Meli knows victory over the 13-2 Scot will move him toward bigger fights, but claims he has approached the test like any other fight.
