Ulster Hall return confirmed for Ulster Seniors

The 2017 Ulster Senior Championship finals have been confirmed for the Ulster Hall in Belfast as the famous tournament returns with vigour.

The climactic night of the provincial championships will take place at the atmospheric Belfast venue on Friday November 24th, with a massive evening of action ahead across Elite male and female fighters

The preliminary rounds will be contested on the Wednesday 15th and Friday 17th of November at the Dockers Club in Belfast, with the initial weigh-ins taking place on Sunday November 12th.

While the championships had seen declining numbers in recent years, this month’s edition will see a host of big names compete, with Olympians, European Games and European Championships medalists, Commonwealth Games medalists, and a host of young stars all stating their intentions to enter.

Part of the reason for the renewed interest is the carrot of the 2018 Comonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

A win this month will not guarantee a spot on the plane Down Under as it is not an official qualifier, however results over the next few weeks will factor heavily in the final selections of the Ulster Council.

Tickets for the big night are on sale now costing £15 (ringside), £10 (general), and £5 (Under 14s)

Contact Liam Corr or Charlie Toland on social media to organise tickets or call +447540269643 (Liam) or +447972 154590 (Charlie).
