Title-hungry Declan Geraghty to face Hungarian on MGM Dublin show

Declan Geraghty [10(2)-1(0)] will continue his pro education next week at the National Stadium against Hungarian opposition.

MGM have announced that their southpaw super featherweight slickster will meet Laszlo Fekete [13(10)-10(8)-2] on February 6th in what will be his twelfth fight in the pro ranks.

‘Pretty Boy’ will face the Central European fighter over six rounds, and the 25 year old Dub will have to stay sharp to avoid being cut by ‘Blade’ Fekete.

22 year old Fekete has never before fought an Irish man, but has been knocked out in all six of his bouts against British opposition – which includes former World title challenger Rendall Munroe

It had been previously rumoured that Geraghty would be contesting the BUI Celtic Warriors belt, however this title fight has not yet materialised.

Nevertheless, the MGM star will be looking to put on another stylish performance for the TV cameras before turning his attention to making the step up and winning belts in the very near future.

Declan Geraghty v Laszlo Fekete features as part of MGMs ‘Clash of the Clans’ show next Saturday night at the National Stadium and exclusively live on Boxnation TV. The packed card also includes Jamie Kavanagh, Gary Corcoran, Phil Sutcliffe Jr, Stephen Ormond, Pajo Hyland, Craig O’Brien, Sean Creagh, Gary Sweeney, and Anto Fitzgerald.

Tickets can be bought from the boxers involved or from HERE.
