THE Finglas firecracker is ready to the light up the ring again.
Dublin super middleweight Brendan Fitzpatrick was last seen in an Irish ring stopping Joe Rea in a round at the National Basketball Arena in late 2012.
By that stage Fitzpatrick had amassed a record of 6-1, his sole reverse coming at the gloves of Ciaran Healy, who was then on a domestic knock out role at the time, and was a fighter most looked forward to watching.
However, Fitzpatrick’s rise coincided with a slump in the game outside Belfast and struggling to get fight dates he took a break from the game.
Now things are on the up in the capital the hard hitting puncher has returned and can be seen training with Pascal Collins in the Celtic Warriors Gym in hopes of a Summer return.
