Tennyson puts knock out defeat behind him with knock out win

YOUNG Belfast prospect James Tennyson made a welcome return to winning ways in Hungry on Friday night.

The super featherweight Irish champion put behind him a surprise knock out defeat inflicted by Pavel Senkovs in the Odyssey Arena on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s Jeremy Parodi victory by defeating Ignac Kassai in Budapest on Good Friday.

The 20 year old, stopped the former Carl Frampton, Paul Quinn and Daniel McShane foe within three rounds and now looks forward to a Belfast return on May 10.
