Ok, it wasn’t the real Chris Eubank Sr or Robert DeNiro, but it certainly sounded like them. Dublin impressionist Al Foran, along with his cavalcade of characters came to the Corduff Gym to film a segment with Cork’s O’Sullivan.
Spot-on mimics of Tyson Fury, Mike Tyson, and Conor McGregor were also provided by the popular comedian during the clip.
The video was done in aid of Rory Gallagher’s Wish to Walk, a charity to support a young Sligo boy who suffers from Cerebral Palsy. The campaign has been taken to heart by much of the Irish boxing community and the illuminous green wristbands are a staple accessory of many Irish fighters.
Team Rory are still looking for entrants to sign up for a Hell and Back Run in Sligo on October 8th (Cost €39) alongside an army of Irish fighters. Some of the boxers who will be running through the mud on the day will be O’Sullivan, Katie Taylor, Paddy Barnes, Mick Conlan, Jason Quigley, and Eamonn O’Kane.
Here at Irish-Boxing.com we are supporters of Team Rory.
