Scott Quigg joins The Jackal Army

Despite having many of them blocked on Twitter, Scott Quigg last night joined The Jackal Army in New York.

The determined Bury puncher, who has served as villain for many Frampton fans over the past few years, took some time out from his recently restarted training to head out to the Big Apple for the WBA featherweight title clash between Frampton and Leo Santa Cruz.

Quigg is out in New York alongside former promoter Ricky Hatton and he will be also cheering on Belarussian former stable mate Sergey Rabchenko who takes on Tony Harrison in an IBF light middleweight title eliminator at the Barclays Centre.

With some down time on their hands, Hatton and Quigg visited an Irish bar in New York and found it to be populated with Frampton fans, who just couldn’t resist getting a picture with the Englishman

While Quigg might not be leading a chorus of ‘Everywhere We Go’ tomorrow night, he certainly seems to be a good sport.
