Know the Score, Ireland’s newest sports quiz kicks off on RTÉ1 on Sunday the 6th of November at 6:30pm.

Sports broadcaster Jacqui Hurley puts some of Ireland’s sporting legends head to head in heated battle to find out who is the ultimate sports know-it-all.

Our national and international stars have proven themselves on the track, in the ring, on the pitch and in the water but can they hold their own in the studio?

Team captains Ruby Walsh and Shane Byrne are desperate for a series win but can the king of National Hunt beat the Mighty Mullet of the scrum? It all depends on their teammates, a veritable who’s who of Irish sport, including appearances from the likes of the O’Donovan brothers, Joe Canning, Annalise Murphy, Stephen Hunt, Niamh Briggs and Ken Doherty.

For boxing fans, there is huge interest as both Mick Conlan and Andy Lee will be featuring.

Want to get the inside track on who is the ultimate sporting brainiac before your friends see it on TV? You can apply for tickets to be part of the studio audience.

Tickets are free but limited; all you have to do is email knowthescorerte@gmail.com with your name and number and how many tickets you would like and one of the team will be in touch. Email as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Audience members must be above 14 years old.

Recordings take place at the RTÉ Studios in Donnybrook, Dublin 4, on September 19th and 21st and October 3rd and 5th at 3pm and 7pm.
