Proof that there will be more Frampton fans than Quigg fans in the Manchester Arena

Barry McGuigan has offered somewhat conclusive evidence that the Jackal Army will outnumber Scott Quigg’s supporters on Saturday night at the Manchester Arena.

The Irish fight legend has revealed that Belfast supporters have bought the highest proportion of tickets sold via general release.

This is in relation to other UK cities, and McGuigan sensationally explained that Quigg’s home city of Manchester has not even seen the second highest amount of tickets sold.

That honour instead belongs to London, where the split between Frampton and Quigg supporters would be a lot more even than in either of Manchester or Belfast.

Manchester ranks third in terms of tickes sold among cities in the UK and Ireland.

It should be noted that these statistics do not include tickets sold through the fighters themselves. However, considering that it can be assumed that both fighters recieved equal or similar allocations, it seems likely that Frampton fans will outnumber Quigg fans on Saturday night.
