The April 16th world championship bout between reigning WBA light-welterweight champion Amir King Khan and undefeated European champion Paul McCloskey, taking place at the M.E.N Arena in Manchester, will now be screened live on pay-per-view channel Primetime (Channel 480 on Sky). Primetime is a dedicated combat sports channel which has shown a number of live world title fights including those of British star and current WBC world super middleweight champion Carl Froch.

Amir is a pay-per-view fighter and has proved over the last 12 months the level at which he is now by beating some of the very best in his division. Primetime has shown some great fights in the past, including those of Bernard Hopkins, Vitali Klitschko, Evander Holyfield, Carl Froch and Jermain Taylor. We are looking forward to working with them and putting on a great show for all fight fans this weekend.

King Khan Returns, the WBA super lightweight championship fight featuring Amir King Khan defending his title against undefeated European Champion Paul McCloskey on April 16 at the M.E.N Arena in Manchester, is a 12 round bout presented by Hatton Promotions in association with Khan Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions. The event will produced and broadcast live on Primetime TV in the U.K. at 8:00 PM BST, with the main event being aired on a delayed basis in United States on HBO at 9:45 PM ET/6:45 PM PT.

Primetime Channel 480 on Sky is the U.K.s newest pay per view sporting and entertainment channel. Since its launch in October 2009, with the Super Six World Boxing Classic super middleweights tournament, Primetime has offered its customers exclusive access to some of the hottest sporting events. Primetime has championed super middleweight Carl Froch, bought U.K. fans fights from Vitali Klitschko and Evander Holyfield and has recently expanded into MMA becoming the new home of Strikeforce in the UK. This return to classic boxing, with one of the U.K.s most popular athletes ensures that Primetime customers remain ahead of the pack.
