Points win for Moran in Spain
Dylan Moran (15(6)-1(1) fought for the third time in 2020 tonight and his second time in Spain.
The Waterford born Welter fought seasoned Nicaraguaian David Bency (14(4)-17(7) in what looks to be the last build-up fight for Moran before he tries to establish himself as a major player in the 147-pound ranks.
Bency brought ‘The Real Deal’ the full eight rounds and made him work for everything in what can go down as rounds in the bank and a learning experience for Moran.
Big fights look to be on the horizon for Moran and with three outings under his belt this year it looks set to be a huge 2021 for him.
Hopefully, the rumored fight with Deniz Ilbay (22(10)-2) can be finalized as Moran looks to move up in the world rankings and claim his first title as a professional boxer and after being left in the dark by his Austrian promoter earlier in the year as they exited the boxing game, Moran seems to be back on track and full steam ahead.
