Phil Sutcliffe Jr: I will take over the world by the end of next year

While a minor injury has ruled him out of the Féile an Phobail show in Belfast this weekend, Phil Sutcliffe Jr. still has big plans for the future.

Speaking exclusively to irish-boxing.com, the Dublin knockout artist revealed that “the plan is, at the end of next year, I will be World Champion.”

As we all know, boxing is a funny old game, and one eye-catching performance that grabs the attention of the right people could set in motion a series of events that could propel the former amateur star to his lofty prediction.

All Sutcliffe [8(6)-0] can do now is to keep obliterating everyone who is brave enough to fight him – indeed all eight professional opponents so far have tasted the canvas at one stage or another when they took on Crumlin’s ‘Succo.’

This assault on world honours will recommence in late September/early October, when Sutcliffe Jr. returns to the ring to inflict some more pain on his next unlucky victim.
