Phelan returns to the ring in September

KILDARE’S Allan Phelan will be hoping to make it seven wins on the trot when he returns to the ring in September.

The New York based featherweight fights Francisco Arellano Resorts World Casino, Queens, New York on September 20. 

Phelan lost his opening two bouts, but since returning to ring action in early 2013 has strung six wins together, four of which came via KO.

The 22 year old, who was training with fellow Lillywhite Denis Hogan in America recently, is hoping to continue the winning streak next month.
