Con Sheehan signs with MGM

MGM have joined forces with Team Fury to manage the career of Tipperary heavyweight Con Sheehan [1(0)-0].

‘Con The Bomb’ has been training in the Fury’s gym in Bolton in recent months and the 27 year old will soon start appearing on MGM cards as he looks to quickly build his record and move into contention for titles.

On the move, MGM announced that “we look forward to a fantastic future with this amazing young talent who is a great addition to the heavyweight division.”

“We are very happy to jointly work with Team Fury to see this sensational heavyweight star rise quickly through the professional ranks to one day bring the heavyweight championship of the World back to Ireland.”

Sheehan currently has two dates pencilled in, September 24th in Birmingham and October 1st in Manchester, and is eyeing further fights before the conclusion of 2016.

Sheehan joins former amateur rival Sean Turner under the MGM banner and a fight with the Dubliner in the near future has no become a distinct possibility.
