Paul Hyland Jr wins after ANOTHER war at the Europa

Paul Hyland Jr was involved in another trademark war tonight at the Europa Hotel.

The lightweight, who headlined MHD Promotions’s previous card, took on tough Pole Jacek Wylezol, and ground out an exciting points victory.

Hylo made it through some hairy moments to triumph on the scorecards 59-55, showing great guts and conditioning to overpower his Eastern European foe.

The victory sees Hyland Jr improve his unbeaten record to ten fights (with two stoppages). The game Wylezol drops to 14(8)-13(3) but certainly proved he is a top-notch acid test for any up-and-coming lightweights.

For Hyland Jr, he will now set his sights on climbing up the British rankings further as he seeks to secure a fight with Matchroom star and British champion Scotty Cardle.
