IT’S OFFICIAL ! Stephen Ormond is one fight away from a World Title shot.

Team Ormond have confirmed that the WBO have ratified the Stephen Ormond Vs Terry Flanagan fight as a final eliminator for the WBO Lightweight Title, currently held by Terrence Crawford.

The mouthwatering Ormond Vs Flanagan clash was initially scheduled for November 24th but will now play out on December 13th, at a yet to be confirmed venue but most likely in Liverpool.

If Ormond overcomes Flanagan he is pole position to fight the winner of the Terrance Crawford Vs Raymond Beltran fight which takes place on November 29th.

If Crawford wins that fight it is rumored that he may move up a weight therefore setting up a potential Ireland Vs England – Stephen Ormond Vs Anthony Crolla fight for the vacant title.
