New fight date for Peter McDonagh
Any disappointment felt by Peter McDonagh over the cancellation of the Fury-Klitschko II card next week have quickly dissipated.
The Irish welterweight champion was due to appear on the undercard on October 29th at the Manchester Arena, but the show has been shelved due to the withdrawal of Fury who is suffering from depression.
Cinderella Man McDonagh will still fight that night however. The MGM boxer has been added to a small-hall show in Tolworth, Greater London.
The 38 year old Galwegian will now fight on the Steve Wraith Promotions card at the Tolworth Recreation Centre against a to-be-confirmed opponent.
