New fight date confirmed for Lilywhite Lightning Eric Donovan

Eric Donovan [2(1)-0] will return to the ring next month in a step up as he looks to pole-vault into Irish title contention.

The 31 year old had an impressive debut year following his glittering amateur career, with two wins in Dublin, the second of which was a breath-taking destruction of durable Pole Kristof Rogowski.

It is the National Stadium again next for Lilywhite Lightning, with Red Corner Promotions confirming that he will appear on the ‘Unfinished Business’ card in Dublin on Saturday February 25th.

The Kildare puncher joins Connor Coyle, Allan Phelan, Jay Byrne, Craig O’Brien, Jake Hanney and Noely Murphy on the card, with more to be confirmed in the near future.

The skilled super featherweight will make a step up from four rounds on the bill as he looks to quickly move into Irish title contention, with the 130lbs belt being contested the previous weekend in Belfast between Declan Geraghty and James Tennyson.
