National Women’s Elite Final Pairings and running order

AIBA World No. 8 ranked welter Claire Grace will meet Irish Youth Olympian and 2013 AIBA World Youth silver medallist Christina Desmond in Saturday’s 69kg Elite final at the National Stadium.

Grace, the only Irish female boxer besides Katie Taylor to medal at the European Elite Championships, is the defending champion.

Debbie O’Reilly and Louise Donoghue will battle it out for the lightweight belt. Olympic champion Katie taylor won this belt on a walkover last year but withdrew from the 2015 Championships because of a hand injury.

Boxing begins at 7pm on Saturday night.
