Natalia Fasciszewska Fights For European GOLD Today

Natalia Fasciszewska goes for GOLD in Budapest today.

The Mayo boxer will contest the European U23 Championship featherweight final in Hungary.

The Castlebar BC starlet secured silver at least and won her way to the final courtesy of a brilliant semi final win over Georgia’s Khuraman Kausumov on Friday.

Standing between Fasciszewska and a place on the top of the podium is a Paris Olympic medal winner, Poland’s Julia Szeremeta.

Speaking after her semi final win she said: ā€œI had a team meeting with my coaches and we analysed everything about this girl. I knew what to expect coming in to this fight. I knew what to expect coming in to this fight so I stuck to the game plan and I gave it to her!ā€

Fasciszewska is expected in the ring at around 11.15am, Irish time, on Saturday morning.
