Medal Time: European Junior Championships Day 4 Live Stream


Ireland go for their first medal today at the European Junior Championships in Albena, Bulgaria.

Tralee light flyweight Patrick McCarthy faces Russian Vakhaev Mukhaed in the quarter finals looking to guarantee bronze.

Then, in last 16 action, will be Dean Clancy, Callum Walsh, Peter Vrinceanu, and Thomas Doherty.

All Irish boxers are in action in Ring B

McCarthy is first up at around 2:15pm (Irish time).

At about 3:10pm it is the turn of Dean Clancy who faces Armenian Arthur Shahakyan.

At 3:55pm Callum Walsh fights Hungarian Racz Krisztofer.

At 5:30pm Peter Vrinceanu faces Russian Anatoli Fedotkin.

Finally, in the last bout of the day, at about 6:50pm, Thomas Doherty boxes Turk Sahin Ergul.
