McKenna: I am coming home to make a statement

With Just over two weeks left until the first professional boxing show in Ireland in 2015 gets underway at the Devenish Complex on Finaghy Road North , Belfast the is a buzz of excitement growing around the much anticipated return of former amateur standout Tyrone McKenna.

The 24 year old slick undefeated Southpaw turned professional in 2012 in the USA and returns home with a perfect record of 6 wins (2KO) and looks to improve that record when he faces the very durable Teodor Stefanov at welterweight over 4×3 rounds.

“Stefanov has never been stopped said McKenna and I am returning to make a statement and showcase my skills in front of my home crowd”

The great line up dubbed “Stand & Deliver” is co headlined by 21 year old featherweight sensation James Tennyson & the talented lightweight Paul “Hylo” Hyland, both boxers looking to progress up the rankings.

North Belfast prospect Ciaran McVarnock also returns how from his Manchester base to have his homecoming as a professional and looks to move to 3-0.

Concluding the card will be Darren Cruise (Rosscommon) Alan Donnellan (Galway) & Michael McKinson (Portsmouth).
