Maguire makes it 3-0 at the 3Arena thanks to stoppage win

DAVID ‘The Viking’ Maguire sailed to victory over experienced journey man Paul Morris in Dublin on Saturday night.

The MGM fighter pushed his record to 3-0 at the 3Arena, registering his first career stoppage in the process.

The 37 year old, who is trained by Seamus Macklin, took time to find his range early on but landed some good body shots in the first round.

The second stanza saw Maguire find his rythm and a big right hand forced Morris to retreat. Sensing blood and spurred on by his MGM team mates ring side ‘The Viking’ went for the kill.

With nothing comeback from the English the referee jumped before eventually raising Maguires hand.
