The Belfast puncher replaces Ghana’s Cobbida Johnson after he failed a medical examination just hours before today’s weigh-in.
Johnson himself was acting as a late replacement after visa complications ruled Elton Dharry of the USA out of the bout.
However, a hospital brain scan showed abnormalities yesterday evening, co-promoters Chris and Jamie Sanigar were left with just hours to find another replacement.
Wilton was contacted last night and immediately accepted the offer to box Haskins.
