Lee wins by stoppage

Andy Lee extended his record to 24-1 (18KO) with a fourth round stoppage of Troy Lowry, 27-11 (16KO) in Indiana on Saturday.

The outgunned Lowry touched down five times before the end was called with just one second remaining in the fourth round.

Lee has spoken about stepping up in his next bout, with a mouthwatering clash with Derryman John Duddy mooted for December 4.

On the undercard, Western Warrior Henry Coyle continued to build towards bigger things with a unanimous points victory over Mustafah Johnson. Mayo native Coyle, who now sports a record of 12-2 (10KO) picked up a 59-56, 58-56, 59-56 verdict from the judges.
